I'm going to refer to the way a job seeker manages his time in order to make the job search more efficient. Many choose to set their watch forward with 5-10 minutes in order not to be late for interviews. This is not everything one should take into account with regards to time management. A plan is more than useful:

You gotta find your weakness, find where you waste your time and then counter it. We all waste time in one way or another, I spend way too much time playing computer games, maybe you spend too much time surfin the net or texting. If you can replace a certain percentage of this time on something else then you'll have managed your time better. Hope that helps ya

The best piece of advice, based on personal experience is start work as early as possible. It is not wise to leave things to the last minute. To all students here, when you're given a large imeframe to write an essay, don't leave it to the last few days, get to work on it asap, you will thank me.

I do something similar, when I'm in the bath I'll make a mental note of the things I need to do for the next day, sometimes taking time out to figure out exactly what you're going to do helps a lot. Good tip!

Instead of having little bits and pieces of info scattered everywhere, use sites like del.icio.us or pageflakes to keep everything organised in one place. Keeping everything central makes things a lot easier to manage/search/organise things.

My time management is definitely not the best...I try to work of a list/schedule/whatever you want to call it...of what I need to do for the day listed in order of importance. But far too many times, the list doesn't get done. Hope someone can come up with a good tip to help me out!

This may sound silly but sometimes I will set my clock forward by 5-10 minutes so I arrive places earlier and make sure I'm on time
