Awesome information. I'm just getting started on my new site, and when it is all set, I'm going to dive into the world of social bookmarking. Thanks for the info.

Some good info here guys, I think StumbleUpon is great not only as a tool for wasting valuable time but to get FREE traffic. But what is the quality of visitors like, do they stay for long or even read the whole page? I think I'll take a closer look at SUexchange, thanks for the suggestion Word Hugger.

Thanks for the post. I saw you advertised stumblexchange, a site I use to use, but stopped when it had a lot of downtime and problems. I DO NOT own this website, but 'stumbled upon' (haha) another called SUexchange . com, and thought you might want to take a look. It is the same idea, but it loads a lot faster. The only bad part is you lose a point when someone stumbles one of your site, or even claims they did. So someone could claim they stumbled everyones site, and everyone doesn't want to lose that point, so they accept his claim and he gets a ton of stumbles for free.

Stumbleupon is for the buzz, and traffic, more than a backlink.

My first website had over 3000 visits from stumbleupon. Thats not bad for a FREE campaign :)

Ankur, they do use the no-follow but they also send you a lot of visitors if people stumble your pages. These are great tips. I like this blog! This is a super neat idea to get great advice from others.
